1. Introduction

Welcome to RIVIERA RESORT SMC Ltd. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.

2. Booking and Reservations

2.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed by email.

2.2 Payment: A valid credit card is required to make a reservation. Payment for the stay will be processed according to the hotel's payment policy.

2.3 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to the arrival date to avoid a 100% cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.

2.4 Check-in and Check-out: Check-in is from 12:00pm on the day of arrival and check-out is by 10:00a.m on the day of departure. Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Rates and Taxes

3.1 Rates: All rates are quoted in Ugandan Shillings, UGX and are subject to change without notice. Rates do not include taxes, gratuities, or other incidental charges unless otherwise specified.

3.2 Taxes: Applicable taxes will be added to the booking total and are subject to change according to local tax regulations.

4. Guest Responsibilities

4.1 Conduct: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times. Any behavior deemed disruptive or inappropriate by hotel management may result in eviction without refund.

4.2 Children Policy: Only children aged 8 years and above are allowed to stay at the hotel.

4.3 External Drinks: A corkage fee on external drinks will be charged at half the price of the drink as sold by the hotel.

4.4 Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property due to negligence and will be charged for repairs or replacements as necessary.

4.5 Personal Belongings: Guests leaving personal belongings such as phones, laptops, or guns in their room must declare them before leaving the hotel premises.

5. Services

5.1 Room Service: We offer room service for the convenience of our guests.

6. Liability

6.1 Personal Belongings: The hotel is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to use in-room safes or hotel security services.

6.2 Health and Safety: The hotel adheres to all local health and safety regulations. Guests must comply with all posted health and safety guidelines.

7. Privacy

7.1 Data Protection: The hotel respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

The hotel reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mbarara City.
